  If you were a kid, trying to understand the Shadow in print may have been difficult without the use of picrtures. But any kid over the age of 11 could understand a photo like this. Just looking at it gave you a tingle. And if your mother caught you with it, she probably would replace that tingle with a sensation of a whole different type, right in the seat of your parents.
