Groucho was also an excellent writer. "Groucho & Me" was one of the best
self-written celebrity autobiographies. I know that's redundant, but its necessary
in this case, like "rotary telephone".
Harpo's book is harder to find, but well worth the effort. He had a writer help him
with the big words. Look for "Harpo Speaks". Especially good is the material on
The Algonquin Circle. Harpo was the only one not talking, but he certainly was listening.
BTW, does anybody out there have either of Harpo's vinyl LPs of harp tunes?
I'd love to hear them.
