Those pop-tops used to come off the cans.In the 1960s, when "recycling" was called "being ecologically-minded," people would devise hobby projects that could be made from the discarded pop-tops.The projects were often useless and dumb, and the pop-tops were sharp-edged (so the Pop-Top Jewelry was really ridiculous), but it was fun.
