Late 1940s Television - Motorola (1948)

It's light years away from widescreen plasma TVs, but if you look at the illustration at the top right, the family is very happy to be crowded around such a tiny set -- it's the novelty that killed prime time dramatic radio programming.Other Motorola TVs, radios, and record players are featured around the border. Everything had tubes that had to warm up.Fine print: "Prices slightly higher in South and West. Installation extra on all television receivers. Look in your Classified Phone Book for the name of your nearest Motorola dealer." It doesn't even say "Yellow Pages!"
