One of our Times Past members (TheMadBlonde) is involved in Red-Throated League, the theatrical society of the Norwegian Explorers of Minnesota. They are dedicated to performing the Old-Time Radio scripts of Edith Meiser, one of the greatest producers in the Golden Age of Radio. The Red-Throated League was founded in 1995 by Bob Brusic and other members of the Norwegian Explorers.
They work with the Explorers and the Sherlock Holmes Special Collections of the University of Minnesota Libraries, where Ms. Meiser's scripts reside. Their performances include live sound effects (or "Foley") as well as period advertisements. They try to create an authentic and enjoyable experience during their annual productions.
