I've got a Strat and a Les Paul besides the Guild. I used to own a pre CBS Telecaster but we DON'T want to talk about that. I will tell you one thing about the Tele......I replaced one pick up with a Humbucking. What a sound !!!!! Played like silk. I think I'm gonna cry...

Beautiful instrument and a collectors piece to boot. It's not silly to bond with it. I have a Guild Acoustic I'd die for before I'd let something happen to her. The pleasure a musical instrument gives is irreplaceable. It will keep you happy when you're happy or make you happy when you're down.
