Thanks Wally. Praying for your Dad! Will chat when you return. One of the guitarists in our band,(Chris), had a kidney transplant in April and is doing pretty well. The donor is a good friend and thankfully they did not have to search far and wide. Godspeed. - Ron L.
Hey Wall! Hope all is well with you! I had a series of mini-strokes,apparently about a month and a half ago, but have started to come around pretty well. I was told I was very lucky. Hope to chat with you and Rick when I see your online. What are you listening to these days? - Ron L. Ottawa,Canada.
Thanks Wally. Yes it seems that it is a daily battle for Rick as well. I use the analagy of things,(normal), folks take for granted are like the 12 labours of Hercules for people like us. It's why this great group means so much to us. Hope we three chat in the wee small hrs. some early am soon. I love the ' soundtracks' from my fave TV shows from 60s,like Perry Mason that Robert posted. I actually taped on cassette my favourite Saint and Man from U.N.C.L.E. shows to listen to when I was really ill and confined to home. Having watched them all so many times and enjoyed them,I could " visualize ", the episode in my mind laying in bed recovering. It was such great therapy! I always had a transistor radio as a kid and listened to our local Comedy/Drama hour which has been around some 50 yrs. on CFRA local Ottawa talk radio. Take care Wally. - Ron L.
Hey Wally, thanks for the welcome. I enjoy the mysteries and also the variety type programs but to be honest I like tol isten to most anything. I find I do that more and more now that tv is so bad. Thanks again Russa
