The Many Faces of Sherlock Holmes (1985)

The adventures of Sherlock Holmes and his loyal assistant Dr. Watson have been immortalized in numerous films. This documentary, featuring Basil Rathbone and Christopher Lee, use archival film clips to illustrate some of the many faces of the world's best- known detective with an overview of Sherlock Holmes as Arthur Conan Doyle wrote of him, as portrayed on the stage, on radio, television, and in the motion pictures by dozens of actors.

You can watch this on HULU now at http://www.hulu.com/watch/94924 but if would like an mp4 version to download I have a copy available. I know some members out of the U.S. cannot watch HULU.

    A tip for searching at youtube: type whatever it is you are interested in, ie. 'Sherlock Holmes' hit enter, THEN look up at the upper lefthand corner for the word, 'Filter', click it, look for the word. 'Duration' at the bottom of the column you will see the words; Long (20~ minutes) click it and you will be rewarded with every show with Holmes' name in it that is 20 minutes and longer. There is a lot there!
