  • Nice! Now we just need the multi-part Jack the Ripper story and my life will be complete.

Are there any more episodes then what have been posted here? : https://www.arthur-conan-doyle.com/index.php?title=The_Stories_of_S...(radio_1979-1985)

  • Thanks Mike, and Douglas for the info. I had a listen to a couple of minutes when it went up and thought it sounded familiar. I haven't had much time recently over Xmas for the group but I'm about to up a couple of things from the BBC from the Xmas period.

  • Thanks, Mike. This an edit of the Michael Hardwick dramatisation starring my favourite Holmes and Watson: Carleton Hobbs and Norman Shelley. It was originally broadcast as a 90 minute play in the BBC Home Service series Saturday Night Theatre on 22nd December 1962. The rest of the cast is Barbara Mitchell (Mrs. Hudson), Timothy West (Commissionaire), Humphrey Morton (Gregson), Godfrey Kenton (Lestrade), Donald McKillop (Constable Rance), David Valla (Wiggins), Vivienne Chatterton (Madame Charpentier), Stuart Nichol (Jefferson Hope), Tom Whyte (Stangerson), Errol MacKinnon (Enoch Drebber), John Graham (Charpentier).

    • Thanks for the info.
