other Sherlockians

Patrick Horgan, who recently turned 82 (May 26th) is a noted Sherlockian and Joycean scholar as well as an actor who has been in Star Trek as Eneg and was in the Steve McQueen film, "The Thomas Crown Affair" amongst his many acting and voice over credits.
He has also narrated close to 1000 audiobooks, including the complete Canon for the Library of Congress and authored a book entitled, "The Detection of Sherlock Holmes" which proposes links between the stories and Celtic bardic legends. There is an interesting discussion on Doyle's hoax regarding the murder of Sherlock Holmes.

Here is Patrick in a stage production as Holmes and another image of Patrick and his son chomping on their Meerschaums!
