Imagination Theatre "GoFundMe" campaign

I don't know how many of you get the IT newsletter, but Jim, Larry and company are trying to raise $4000 for a spectacular show celebrating the 1000th episode of IT.

There are 300 of us here who have enjoyed the FREE Holmes episodes provided by IT.

If we each donated a mere ten bucks to the campaign, it would be a tangible way of saying thanks to Jim, Larry and the gang for all the enjoyment they have provided.

If we each simply paid a dime for each episode of Holmes, that would be fifteen dollars each and would put the campaign over the top.

I've kicked in fifty bucks as a start. I'll be VERY interested to see how many people here really support IT.

  • During the past week, this thread has been one of the most watched on the website, but only a few members have seen fit to contribute  to the GoFundMe campaign.  Sad.

I'm saddened by the very small response from this group.  There's only $475 to go. Let's put it over the top.

    • Okay, I pitched in again but now I'm tapped. C'mon folks, help out the community and the artists we all enjoy.

  • I pushed them past the 3/4 mark of their $4000 goal.
    Glad to be of service.

  • I went ahead and donated $20 this morning.  I know it's not much, but hopefully it will make a small yet important contribution to one of the greatest audio drama companies going these days.  I have enjoyed IT performances for several years and eagerly anticipate the 1000th week show!  It is my pleasure to fund this effort and to have the opportunity to give back to IT, who has given me so many hours of entertainment!

    • Scott:

Thank you. We all give what we can. More importantly, the very act of donation, regardless of the amount, tells Jim and Larry that people CARE about what they do.

Thanks to all those who stepped up. The amount is not as important as the message of support that ANY donation sends to Jim and Larry.

Still $1450 to go and a lot of the members of this group still to hear from.
