Identification assistance, please ...

A friend sent me this three-part adaptation of SPEC which is purportedly a radio broadcast recording. Holmes and Watson are played by "Moore" and "Sylvester" respectively.

I've found a YouTube version (audio with still pictures) which identifies the writer as Robert Richo but does not identify the radio station or network.

Any ideas?

  • Is that a 'B' I hear in the intro (and outro) for the names? Like so:

    B. Harold Moore & Robin Sylvester

    Google's not throwing up much.

    • Billy Moore (B. Harold Moore, “voice” of Drake-Chenault): WIL-St. Louis and WABC-New York (when it was ‘music radio’), and CBS/fm.  This info was from http://www.laradio.com/bestsound.htm
    • Forgive my post about the font. I see what you did there (copy and paste)

    • Using Jim's info I've been googling a bit more but still can't get a date or source (e.g. radio show) for this.

Any thoughts Bob? - by the way you are conspicuous by your absence recently. I know your work takes you travelling a lot. I hope your well.

    • Opening the main group page I noticed 220 members which I'm sure was one more than yesterday.

Let's hope this person posts a bit I thought. It surprises me that for 220 members there aren't more posts here.

Anyway I see you've posted in a few including resolving this it seems. Thanks.

On a personal request. I'd love to see normal type used.

    • I tried Google. No joy.

  • Hi Bob

I haven't visited the group for a few days. This is a new one on me. I'll have a listen and a google and if I come up with anything to add - I will. Thanks.
