    Not sure why it's taken me so long to get around to these two BBC documentaries, but you can thank Jake for giving me a nudge. They were broadcast during Radio 4's Conan Doyle Week, 1st - 5th July 2000. According to my notes - which may be almost as reliable as Dr Watson's - "The Real Sherlock Holmes" was transmitted on 5 July. The presenter was Ruth Dudley Edwards, detective story writer and sister of Conan Doyle expert Owen Dudley Edwards.

    • Looking forward to hearing the Ruth Dudley Edwards show as I'm sure I listened to it when it was broadcast. This one and The Secret History of Conan Doyle were produced by Testbed Audio - scroll down the link a little for details of these 2 shows.
