The Guardian recently ran a story disclosing that Mitch Cullin's book is in pre-production as a movie, which will star Ian McKellen as Holmes.
It will be set in 1947 when Holmes is 93 years old. If you've read the book (e-book below), you'll know that this is not the vigorous Holmes of 1895. This is a frail, old man with some memory lapses but still with the facility to see the facts clearly.
Just for fun, who would you cast as Watson, if they were to have the Doctor?
Who would you cast as Roger, the teenage son of Holmes' housekeeper? Or the housekeeper herself?
