  • I don't know how I missed these lo those many years ago. Many thanks to you, Estleman and Rick!

  • Thanks! These are great, a fine continuation. A bit shakey to begin with. Setting out into new territory without Michael Williams wasn’t going to be easy. But the relationship between the characters gets better as they get to know each other & Andrew Sachs settles into the role.

I hope they do many more but I got the impression from the final scene of the Marlbourne Point Mystery (Holmes telling Watson they will live forever at fictional characters) suggested there might not be anymore.

  • this too will become a favourite soon

    thank you

  • Thanks for completing this two-parter. It's an interesting take on the untold tale of the politician, the lighthouse and the trained cormorant! Recalling a reference from The Empty House was also a treat!
    • We need 'The Detective' to find your whereabouts Bob! You've not informed us if you've returned to your private apiary.
  • Thanks for grabbing and posting this.

    • This is an unusually well-crafted Holmes tale --very unlike most of the audio Holmes stories: rapid cuts between scenes and an almost modern (faster) pacing than the canon itself. A very intelligent development of the original stories, Bravo!
