Nice to have a better quality version. I have listened to this so many times - used to play it in the car on long journeys to the remote north of Scotland. Set just the right tone.
My wife is of Scottish descent, the MacDonalds to be specific. Part Scottish and part Native American. Quite an interesting mix. It seems that she is Forbes an MacDonald. The MacDonalds arrived in America During the French and Indian Wars in the 1700s and Sandy Forbes emigrated to Canada in 1900 and proceeded to be enamored of Indian women, He would marry them, father a child or 2 and then leave to do the same thing across Canada so you have a lot of red haired Indians all across Canada and the Northern states bordering Canada. ------------------------ R
We Scots do get around a bit don't we :)
Aye, Ye do. me, being an Armitage and Brudige mix am of British descent wit the Scandinavian Neilsens mixed in. We Americans would be mainly Mongrels if we were dogs. There are very few purebreds here. LOL -------------------------------------------- R
One of my favorite Wyndham novels.
Thanks Rick, I only had a mono version.
The other one is up now. I am trying out a new storage spot and they went down for 24 hr maintenance right after I posted. I put it elsewhere. ------------- R
