First Crusade - Entombment on Vultrex

By the 30th Century, conditions on Earth had become hopeless. A quantum leap in life extension, once thought to be man's ultimate salvation, instead produced over-population, plague and famine...and eventually, complete social collapse. In many civilized regions of the world, man resorted to the unthinkable: cannibalism. In 2828, the United Earthian Foundation was formed to ensure the survival of man kind. A small group of earth-born scientists were launched aboard five large starships and assigned distinct sectors of space. Their mission: find another habitable planet for the continuation of the human race. By 2949, the Helix had entered the orbit of the Planet Vultrex. The mission was proceeding as planned until the crew disturbed what lay entombed below!

Second Crusade - Mass Extinction

While orbiting the planet Vultrex in the year 2949, the Starship Helix received an emergency translight beacon ordering all five Earthian Foundation ships to return to Earth. Can mankind survive a catastrophic geophysical disaster? Thank you for this series of two. Liked the characters and the premise - maybe someday someone will write the third episode. There were many episodes of Sherlock Holmes not written by Connan (sp?) Doyle, so I can only hope that same happens for this series - at least two more episodes!!

Music and sound effects added the right touch to the production. It is nice when a play/audio movie makes you forget everything except what is happening in the production. Thanks again -
