Thank You. The Site search is actually quite nice now that I changed the classifications of the groups. The Private search was not as good. I am glad i did this last night all night long because i couldn't sleep. Pain gets really intense sometimes and is always present in somewhat lower intensity. ------------------------------ R
That doesn't sound so good. Hope it eases.
It is called RSD. I got it from a nerve injury 14 years ago and the the pain has been constant 24/7 since then. All that can be done is purely symptomatic Treatment . There is no fix for it. Thank You for the sentiment though. That is how i have the time for all this Uploading and administration etc is that i am totally disabled from it. --------------------------------- R

I opened them today so 99% of Times past posts hit the server all at once within a half hours time. I think we may have to back-up the Site search with a manual one for a few days. LOL ------------- R

Also, I have been testing the search. I think until they reboot it at the end of the week we ought to either lay off the classic stuff or commit to a manual search. The search appears to only be pulling up the recent stuff, maybe past year, nothing archaic from the bowels of the server. My guess is it needs to do whatever to get the info into the search. After all I dumped a lot into a search that was rarely used on this site in about 1/2 hour all of Times Past's Private groups. You are maybe talking a Tb of info or more it needs to assimilate and alphabetise. I will jot off a work order to maintenance to maybe cycle the site's info or whatever they have to do to get the info into the site search but if they do it as fast as they are fixing to Private search I don't hope to see an improvement until they go down for normal maintenance sometime later in the week. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- R
Yes - it can take some time to index a site for search.
My manual searches haven't proved to be too successful so far...
