Fun spoof of American Sci Fi of the 1950's. Done tongue in cheek with some ham and a bit of cheese thrown in. Done in 6 parts, it originally aired in 2006.

Some additional information and a better set of encodes:
Atomic Tales! is a spoof of early American SF serials, complete with period presenters, adverts, and cast interviews.
Atomic tales is a VERY tongue in cheek pastiche SF show based on the best of 1950's American pulp sci-fi. Expect high grade techno babble (Adjusting Brain-systems for maximum Quadrangulation!), thinly veiled anti-communist propaganda and general silliness.
What SF should have been, but never was.
(A tagline was "When the future was so Futuristic, it might melt your temporal lobes!"
Cast:
Bob Womack - Colin Stinson
Jeff Marshall - Jeff Harding
Lucy C Petri - Alyson Warnyca
Alexander Lowell - Lewis Macleod (except pilot), Ewan Bailey (pilot)
Montgomery Holmes - John Guerassio
Kate "Kiddo" Mahoney - Eliza Ross
Written by Nat Sones & Adam Tandy
4 "Land of Plenty" - Futuristic tale set on Mars, where human food is stored in specially sealed Mag-cans. What if the can-openers malfunctioned? This episode was actually the "pilot" and because it did so well, an additional 5 episodes were made.
5 "Unstoppable!" - The tension continues in the sci-fi serial as a space train hurtles towards Earth!!!!
6 "Night of the Cicadas" - The cicada is a friendly chirruping insect, but what if it grew to a vast size and hungered for human flesh?
