  • Oh, fun !  I think I missed these before...Thanks !

  • Thanks - haven't heard of these before. Looking forward to them.

  • Nice find.

Does anybody have the Suspense and Adventure sets?
    • BUMP

    • thanks bruthah!

  • This is one of the few shows that actually BELONGS in "Radio Revival."

Act One is Jim French's earlier production company - the same group that offers Imagination Theatre.

If there's any professional company trying to revive radio, it's Jim French Productions.
    • Actually Act One Audio was the name used by Topics Entertaiment when they licensed the shows from us a few years ago. They also released Susense and Adventure editions. We sold them on our web site for awhile. Time Stowaway stars film actor John (Destination Moon) Archer. John was also the "The Shadow" for a few months in 1944 - 45.
    • I stand corrected . Thank you!

Under which banner did Jim and Pat French produce these originally, if not "Act One"?
    • Most of the shows were first done in the 90's as a part of the Movies For Your Mind series and first aired locally in Seattle. Nathan's Hands was first heard on Imagination Theatre. The Thing in the Woods and Uncle John's Trouble was originally part of the Crisis series from the 70's. There is a fantastic log of all of the shows produced by JFP on the Original Old Time Radio site at http://www.old-time.com/
