Replies
I have to confess that none of the songs stayed in my memory, and it was many years before I realised that they were by Rodgers & Hammerstein. (But then I've long preferred the songs of Rodgers & Hart and those of Hammerstein & Kern to the stuff that Messrs R & H produced together.)
Jimmy Edwards, Tommy Steele, and Yana - yes, I remember them as the King, Buttons, and Cinders. But Kenneth Williams and Betty Marsden? Well, you could knock me down with a crowbar!
Thanks so much for posting this, Rick!
