THE SEEDY SOUND OF "HELLO CHEEKY!"

Most of the songs on Marty Feldman's album were written by John Junkin and composed by Denis King, both of whom worked on Feldman's TV series. They'd concocted the songs for their own amusement, but Marty heard a couple, liked them, and suggested he record them. (The others on "I Feel a Song Going Off" - including Denis King's favourite, "World's in Rhyme" - are the work of Bill Solly.) Music Hall - Musichall ~ Old Time performances

Music Hall Hope this is not a duplication but could not see this any where. I thought I'd ask if there are any Music Hall items out and about? I will be uploading what I have here over the next few weeks and hope they might be added to by a few people. Michael Hordern

Here is a link to Michael Hordern reading The Reluctant Dragon a children's story by Kenneth Grahame first published in 1898. This is from an ARGO record 1977. http://www.mediafire.com/?tysgez2agseg5wh Back in 1977 M Hordern had 50 film appearences under his belt with his first being in 1939. There are a lot of pieces around that Michael Hordern recorded like the MR James stories and Narnia. I will look for others.
