Strange things happen in small towns. It seems like an unfair stereotype, but when a small community is isolated enough, the inhabitants have no other communities by which to gauge how acceptable their everyday practices are... or aren't.
In this play, written by Roy Clarke (who is undoubtedly better known for the UK TV series The Last Of The Summer Wine), we are introduced to such a small town. When a massive Dominican friar in a Mini arrives in a small town in the moors of West Yorkshire, Jamie, the local constable, discovers a Satanic sect is responsible for several murders and are planning to sacrifice another...
This particular version was recorded in 1980 and directed by Caroline Smith. There's a six-part version from 1968, directed by Alan Melville, lurking around in the ether - If anyone has it, please post it, Thanks

I realize there is only 1 listing. I cut it in 3 pieces so that I could post it on Times Past. When we were able to post here right on site there was a size limit. You will most likely find many that have been cut. This was preferable to lowering the bitrate to unlistenable. If it bothers you put the parts back together. I have included the program to do it. -- Rick

I was not complaining Riklla just saying something about the play and the fact that it so long. It was a good idea to cut it up. On the mac I use MP3 Trimmer which has MP3Joiner as one of its functions.

My file is 2hours 22 mins long
For some reason I've been having problems sychning all three of these to my ipod. They'll play on itunes just fine by when i go to put them on my ipod i'm lucky to get two out of three on the ipod. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
Evan, I listen almost exclusively on my ipod..but I'm not quite sure what your problem is.
All mp3's should copy or transfer to your ipod unless your ipod is full. Do you create a folder for multi part shows like this? Otherwise mine don't stay in order..so you do need to create it's own folder.
