Tales From Beyond The Pale (Season One)

Tales From Beyond The Pale (Season One) - 192/44

From Glass Eye Pix comes the complete first season of their wildly successful audio theater TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE just in time for Halloween

Conceived during a fog-drenched car ride with nothing beyond the windshield but a horizon-less void, Larry Fessenden and Glenn McQuaid created the acclaimed TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE, audio theater inspired by the vintage radio shows of Alfred Hitchcock and Orson Welles.

“It was very gratifying to challenge these artists to step outside their chosen medium and explore the world of audio storytelling, and to get everyone into production without a long fundraising period. With audio tales, the only limitation to production value is imagination,” states Fessenden.

McQuaid adds: “Season One of Tales from Beyond the Pale represents a year long effort to plunge the depths of like minded story tellers and to get original genre content out to hungry ears. It’s an eclectic mix, with each story taking the listener down new and unexplored roads.”

  • Oh man! These look really good.  Thank you

  • It just keeps getting better! The longer I look, the more wonderful shows I find. Thanks for making this available!
    • Thanks for the Compliment Chimp!!!!  -------------------  R

  • A big, fat thank-you to you for posting these !  These are REALLY well written, produced and acted ( and LOVE that theme-song !), and wonderfully twisted. I hope they haven't given up on season 2...it looks like they are pretty busy with their films.

    Hope springs eternal ..

  • There is no word yet on season 2.  It has been quite awhile since the end of season one and just lately they started selling bound sets.  They are excellent though.  Happy Halloween Joe.  -------------------------  Rick
    • Maybe if more people supported them by buying the work, they could afford another season?  :>)

I haven't listened yet, but, if the artwork is any indication of quality, these should be really good!

    • They are not expensive, $3 or $4 each.  ---------------------------------------------  Rick
  • Thanks for creating an archive for the series.  This is a seriously deranged series of shows definitely NOT for the feint-of-heart.

Any idea when Season 2 will start?
