The repair was not my work.  Tape adjustments are beyond my expertise. Once a piece is digitized I can and have corrected audio, but alas, not this one.  I will relay any comments on the work to the usenet poster I got it from. I left the Encode Notes as is so that down-loaders can see what was done to preserve an excellent old play so that you and I could enjoy it.-----Rick

Encode notes:  The sound quality varied between bright and dull over the course of the play, which I tried to even out. I also compressed the sound to make up for extreme dynamics (the encode was possibly just one channel of a stereo broadcast).  There was one short sentence around 42:30 where the tape suddenly ran so fast the words were unintelligible. I speed-adjusted the passage as best I could; it's noticeable but at least understandable. The play is one that should be listened to despite it's flaws.

80/44/mono; 28.7 MB; sound quality fair, with minor defects
