Double or Nothing

Double or Nothing....the clock is ticking away as contestants struggle to answer questions such as:

   1. How do you tuna fish?
   2. Why doesn't corn digest completely?
   3. Do some people hear more than one ocean while holding a conche shell to their       ear?
   4. What would you prefer to do..... win a house, win a car, or winnabego?

The show was originally sponsored by Feenamint, which may in part explain the question about digesting corn. It was later presented by Campbells Soup, they of the creepy fat head science fiction faced bloated children heads.  The show was indeed canned while under Campbells mmmmm not so good control.

Double or Nothing had several hosts during its long run on the radio including John Reed King, who was best known as the voice of radio’s "Sky King,"  and , who hosted the popular game show longer than anyone else. Bert Parks hosted the CBS TV version of the show.

There is some speculation as to the integrity of the show. There are some who believe answers were sometimes supplied.

The finest moment of the show was without a doubt when a contestant is given a taste of Campbell's Pork and Beans and says, " I don't like it!!"
