Richard David Briers, CBE (1934 - 2013) was an English actor. His fifty-year career encompassed television, stage, film and radio.

      Probably Jane Downs as Carrie (I thought it was Judi Dench!); along with Frank Duncan.

      Ian McKellen is the Butcher; Michael Hordern as Mr. Perkupp.
