01 Happy Returns - It's Irene's 33rd birthday, and she plans to make it a good one. But birthdays tend to bring a few surprises.
02 Dark Secrets - There are strange things afoot - missing postmen, hypnotised pets and anonymous threatening letters. Irene enlists Bob's help to find out who - or what - has sent the island into disarray.
03 Avowal - Six-part comedy by Lynne Ferguson. Irene and Moira aren't speaking, Alberto and Ena have fallen out, and Agnes has declared World War III on the minister's trousers. Just how are the villagers to solve their disputes if no one is talking to each other?
04 Story - Everyone is telling tales and making up stories. Moreover, Moira is acting oddly, no one is listening to Bob, and Agnes has discovered the medicinal benefits of alcohol.
05 Growth - Bunty is nowhere to be found after an official from the European Community arrives on the island to inspect her vegetables. Meanwhile, the rest of Millport is bitten by the fitness bug.

Irene is back in Millport, wondering why she has returned to a place she spent a lifetime trying to escape

The reopening of the Cumbrae Club goes horribly wrong. Alberto is worried about a new money-making scheme
3: Wild Rovers.
The Cumbrae Club has reopened and is already causing controversy. Moira is in hysterics over her missing pooch
. 4: The Siege.
The people of the neighbouring islands are outraged that Millport has its own independent public house
5: Progressive Rock.
There is much excitement when Millport is the subject of a feature in a national newspaper, but Irene fears the worst
6: The End of the Beginning.
Things have gone terribly wrong, and with Irene gone there is only one person who can save the island.
