Story
=====
Here are the zany misadventures of foggy-minded aristocrat Bertie Wooster and his sharp-witted valet, Jeeves. They visit Steeple Bumpleigh, home of Bertie's Uncle Percy, also the home of Bertie's ex-fiancée, Florence, and her new fiancé, Constable Stilton Cheesewright. In addition, Bertie's cousin, Nobby, wants Bertie's help in gaining Uncle Percy's approval of her writer fiancé. To complicate the romantic antics, Stilton thinks Bertie wants to reconcile with Florence (as does Florence) and threatens bodily harm. Into the muddle comes Jeeves, who, as always, saves the day. It's hard to improve on this treasure, but Jonathan Cecil does it with an impeccable, wildly funny narration.

Synopsis:
Bertie Wooster and Gussie Fink-Nottle swap their identities, while Catsmeat Potter-Pirbright pretends to be the
faux-Gussie's valet Meadowes and Jeeves pretends to be the faux-Bertie's valet, before complications ensue.
Together, they find themselves at the Aunt-ridden Deverill Hall, Hampshire, seat of the imposing Dame Daphne
Winkworth, where Gussie's on-off engagement to Madeline Bassett is once again in danger, leaving Bertie at risk of
becoming reattached to her. Bertie must also defend his friend Catsmeat's girl Gertrude Winkworth, daughter of Dame
Daphne, from the attentions of the attractive Esmond Haddock, while avoiding fulfilling his Aunt Agatha's wish that he
marry her himself... All of Jeeves' considerable powers are required to bring things to a satisfactory conclusion.

Thanks for what will be many hours of enjoyment with these audiobooks.In the UK we have recently been treated to reruns of Stephen Fry & Hugh Laurie playing the characters on television.
I have some BBC Radio broadcasts with Richard Briars & Michael Hordern in the leads. Will check if they haven`t already been posted in the groups and if the quality is good I will start posting a few in a new discussion.
