Mo is
about to hit the big 50, and some uncomfortable truths are becoming
quite apparent: She doesn't understand either of her teenage kids, which
as a child psychologist, is fairly embarrassing. She has become
entirely grey. Inside, and out. Her face has surrendered and is
frightening children.

Episode 1: It's New Year yet the mood is anything but festive in the Battle family household.
Episode 2: Life gets more complicated for Mo and Peter whose respective attraction to Noel grows apace. Meanwhile, the dog is pregnant.
Episode 3: Dora sits her A-Level exams but focuses on her social life. Noel flirts with Mo, and Peter flirts with Noel, with dramatic consequences.
Episode 4: Oscar confides in Nana Pamela, and Dora celebrates her 18th birthday. But Mo is far from being a dutiful mother.
Episode 5: Dora fixes a secret date on Facebook, but thanks to Oscar, Dad finds out and stirs himself to action.

Dawn Roma French is a British actress, writer and comedian. In her career, she has been nominated for six BAFTA Awards and also won a Fellowship BAFTA
along with Jennifer Saunders. She is best-known for starring in and
writing her comedy sketch show, French and Saunders, alongside her comedy partner Jennifer Saunders, and for playing the lead role of Geraldine Granger in the sitcom The Vicar of Dibley.
