written by David Bolt. There were several sets of six episodes each. The series was about the business of mining "with all its allure and potential for evil" - as the publicity said. In each episode actor Eric Peterson played John Kinney, a mining analyst. Good dialogue, plots, and very Canadian.
I only have one 6 show set. If there are several as the text from the original poster states I could find no more. That is a shame because the show is quite interesting and good.

Excellent!
When looking round for CBC shows I came across a reference to this show but never found any to down load. So this is a big improvement on my Zero. It was recommended as quite a good show I recall.
