    My question is about two British mystery serials by the same author that are somewhere on this page, but I can't remember their names:

    (1)  A man has a car accident  when he swerves to avoid a hearse crossing the road, but everyone in the small town denies there was any hearse.

    (2) A man has to go on the run from the police when his identity has been stolen.  It begins with someone using old bank checks that get caught by the bank.

    They were uploaded here several years ago.
