Renowned Victorian lady detective Dorcas Dene is commissioned by a desperate mother to save her son from the gallows after he is accused of the brutal murder of his wife. The problem is that the victim named her husband as the assailant with her dying breath.

Moi', darlin if I was going to kick I would have done it a number of times in the past. I had a Near Death Experience 15 years ago when I had a heart attack and died. I went to the light and was instantly traveling through the stars. The light was so beautiful and bright. I ended up standing before My Grandmother and her sister, my favorite aunt, both long departed from this plane of existence. They told me that is wasn't my time and that I had tasks yet to fulfill on Earth. They also said that since I was there I could stay if I wanted and then stressed that I still had things to do here. Obviously I chose to come back. I take what I was told as gospel and feel that helping enrich the lives of countless others here on TP is one of my tasks and the other is lovingly taking care of my wonderful wife who has MS. I take care of her as well as I can with my own disability. So, until things change drastically in my life I figure that the toe tag is a bit in the future. My aunt also said that God would send an Angel to get me when he does call. So, until I see that Angel i feel that I am staying right here on this rock helping wonderful people like you and the many others that we bring a little light into their lives.
