Honey West: Murder On Mars
320K
Honey West is adapted by Elaine Lee from her mini-series "Murder on Mars" and features characters from the Honey West novels by G. G. Fickling (and television series starring Anne Francis).
The Story
It's 1962 and Hollywood's sexiest private eye has gone undercover on the set of a low-budget science fiction flick to investigate the death of B-Queen Zu Zu Varga. It looks like murder, but who had motive? Was it the scheming ingenue, the down-on-his luck director, the jealous agent, or the aging teen heartthrob? And then there's that killer robot!
Honey West: Murder on Mars, directed by William Dufris, was recorded at The Studio, Portland, ME. 80 minutes.

Thanks for this Rick.
I don't remember the actress who played Honey West in the TV series but she was a seriously good looking woman.I realize in these days of political correctness, that probably makes me a sexist pig but I'm so old I don't care.
Robert
It was Anne Francis of Forbidden Planet fame with Robbie the Robot and many other good movies. She was a looker until the day she died. ------------------------------------------ Rick
Rick, I had a listen to this play last night. This was a fun offering; even more risque than the TV series. Are you aware of any others?
Thanks
It was offered by ZBS and I bought it. There are no others there now, I check ZBS every now and then. This was recently done and the TV series was from the 60s. That is why it is more risque, the audio was just set in the 60s. They have a new "Ruby" coming out soon and those are always good. i love their stuff. ----------------------------- Rick
Hi, Rick:
I already pre-ordered Ruby Nine! (One of the virtues of being a donor). :>)
Of course, I'll post it when i get it.
Excellent my friend. I got the literature on it in the mail and it does look good. Thank You!!!

Thanks again, Rick!
Hmmmmm.... What a conundrum! I wonder how "Hollywood's sexiest private eye" would compare to "San Francisco's sexiest private eye," Candy Matson. Mike
Well Mike for one thing Candy Matson could have taught Honey West about being a Private Eye. Candy's show was in the late 40s early 50s and the timeline for Honey is in the 60s. LOL ------------------------------------------------- Rick
Thanks Rick!
