5 Thriller writers each take an episode of a 5 part thriller from May 1990. Each episode is 15 minutes. Each author gives us a brief intro and rationale behind their particualr chapter.

This was one of the very first programs I ever recorded off the radio. It was on each evening over the course of a week. The fifth and final part was broadcast on 1st June 1990. These were taped from Radio 4's longwave frequency. The sound quality isn't brilliant - but definitely listenable.

I've transferred this to MP3 by literally doing each side of the original (90 minute) tape as one file - with episodes 1, 2 & 3 making up the first file, and the final 2 parts making up the other.

On the end of the cassette (and subsequently the end of the 2nd file is another program presented by Ted Allbeury called "Occupation Spy", which is a documentary about the UK's Famous Five. (Philby, Burgess McClean, Blunt & a.n.other).

The files aren't small - they're probably unnecesarily large for audio of this sound quality, but that's how they come out when I've converted them from the original tapes. I don't get a size/quality option.
