Starring the brilliant Alison Steadman as investigative journalist DT Mitchell.
30 minutes x 6 part mystery drama. BBC Radio 4.
I've not dated this, but I'd have taped it back in the late 80s & early 90s. I definitely remember it was on in the crime/sci-fi drama slot, which was at 11pm on Thursday nights.
Recorded on 2 x 90 minute cassettes, so episodes 1, 2 and 3 make up the first download, while 4, 5 & 6 make up part 2. The files are quite large. It was recorded on cassette off of FM Radio. Sound quality is alright.
I remember I also especially liked "Burnt" which was another Nigel Baldwin 6 x 30 minute crime drama, starring Dennis Waterman. I've definitely got it on tape so (somewhere!) so if I can find that I'll convert that too and upload.

Nice one David. There are so many treasures waiting to be discovered within the groups.
Thank you very much, David!
I also have Burnt, at 96/44 stereo, if you can't find your copy. I have other works by Baldwin as well.

Bob - brilliant!
If you have Burnt that would be excellent! I'd like to listen to it again!
I wish I'd seen your offer of that before I spent a couple of hours the other day going thru my stuff - I've been moving about a lot in last couple of years and half my stuff is still in storage. I'm pretty sure I must have a box of recordings in a warehouse in Luton! Because Burnt (and some other things I know I've got) aren't here! As I'm typing that, the difference between a box of tapes, and a virtual folder of audio drama is actually making me chuckle! I look back to the 20 odd years ago that I was taping this stuff off the radio, times have definitely changed! :-)
I really liked both Cordoba and Burnt - & I've got a vague memory of some sorta Arthurian thing - but other than that I don't know anything about Nigel Baldwin! Based on the above though I'd definitely be interested!
I'll put my entire Baldwin collection up later this evening.
My "stuff in boxes ... somewhere..." tends to be Sherlockian so i can sympathize with your plight.
Bob
I'll post when the collection is up.
I've created a new topic for the Baldwin collection
