  • Thanks for the programs.  It's great to hear performers in new and interesting parts.  McDowall, of course, did some work in old time radio---as did many of the contract players of the day.

    • Several of these were recorded in the 1970's for Jim French's "Crisis" series. Roddy McDowell was appearing at the Cirque Dinner Theater in Seattle when Jim approached him about playing a role on the show. He says that Mr. McDowell was the soul of graciousness and professionalism. "The Man Who Died Twice" was a sort of pilot for "Kincaid, the Strangeseeker."
