Only George DiCaprio would host such a macabre feast as Forbidden Knowledge. Filled with stories of cannibalism, incest, castration and exhumed corpses, the two-issue series wallows joyfully in its depravity. In the first issue, Jim Himes "Blood Lust of the Tupinamba" is particularly gruesome. The story about Russian castrators by Rich Chidlaw, also in the first issue, is dedicated to George's newborn son, the "Mighty Leonardo!" (I'm guessing Leo was circumcised!).

The cruelty inherent to human history is a great excuse for Forbidden Knowledge to deliver some of the most stomach-churning and violent scenes in comic book history.

In the first issue of Forbidden Knowledge, Jim Himes contributes a particularly gore-filled tale about a primitive society in "Blood Lust of the Tupinamba." A few pages later, Rich Childlaw gives us a story about Russian castrators, which is dedicated to George's newborn son, the "Mighty Leonardo!"

In the second issue of Forbidden Knowledge, George DiCaprio shares editing duties with Pete Von Sholly. The stories are not quite as stomach churning as those presented in the first issue, but there's still plenty here to make you wonder about the nature of evil in the human race.
