In 2003 Noory became the host of Coast to Coast AM, a nightly national radio call-in show focused on UFOs, ghosts, and other paranormal topics. Noory took over the show from its original host, late-night legend Art Bell. (Earlier, Noory had filled in as host on some of Bell's off-nights.) Noory previously hosted his own late-night radio show in St. Louis, following an early career in TV news production.

On Tuesday's show, intuitive researcher, lecturer and filmmaker David Wilcock discussed his recent research on crop circles and energy vortexes. According to the work of Ivan Sanderson, there are 12 points (or ' Vile Vortices') around the Earth where ships and planes disappear, not just the Bermuda Triangle. Storms tend to begin in these areas, which also exhibit gravitational anomalies and magnetic fluctuations. These points, via particles and vibration, affect the geometric shape of the continents and the atmosphere, Wilcock detailed.
This past July he traveled to England to observe crop circles first hand, including one formation that was octahedral in shape. While agreeing that some circles are human-made, he noted that researchers have found the soil under crop circles to have drier, looser consistency than the soil nearby. Crystals have also been found in the crop circle soil, which could only grow at temperature levels that would normally be much too hot for the plants to survive, he said. "The reason why these crystals are forming and the soil gets so dry is that the technology that makes these circles involves drawing water up out of the ground," Wilcock suggested.
He connected the patterns of crop circles with the geometric processes of the Earth's vortexes. Further, some of the crop circles' symbolic messages have related to DNA change and soul evolution, as well as the downfall of the New World Order, he said. Upon entering the rundown dwelling for the first time, Wilder said she sensed a "very heavy, gloomy energy" and felt that an old man had died there. The man turned out to be the previous owner, Leon, whom she believes protects the house and her family from evil entities.
Wilder described the house as Grand Central Station for spirits. Ghost hunters from Northern Minnesota (website) have investigated the home twice and recorded more EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) there than any other private residence, she added. Wilder also shared a creepy encounter she had in her bedroom with a 4-foot-tall hooded being who tried to pull her spirit from her body. According to Wilder, she called on Leon's ghost for help and watched as something forcibly removed the cloaked thing from the room.
For interested parties, Wilder hosts haunted tea parties at her home (more info). About half of the time something strange will happen, she said. Callers phoned to share their own haunted house stories in the second hour.
'Most Frightening Moment' Calls
The last two hours featured Open Lines with a special line for callers who wanted to share their "Most Frightening Moments." Chris from Prattville, Alabama, told George about a terrifying experience he had in a small rented mobile home. Chris said he was in the master bedroom one night when he heard footsteps in the kitchen. Something continued moving down the hallway and slammed into the bedroom door, causing it to move. According to Chris, when he finally opened the door it fell off its hinges. A video camera set up in the hallway the next night revealed what looked like a figure in white noise, he claimed.
Robert in Juneau, Alaska, described what he believes may have been an encounter with Satan, who appeared as a grey creature with horns and goat feet, similar to the mythological Pan. Robert did as his grandmother instructed him (should he ever come across the Devil) and swatted at the creature causing it to leave. Gary from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, remembered a heart-stopping confrontation he had during the waning days of the Vietnam War. Gary said he was near Monkey Mountain when he happened to drive his Jeep past 10 enemy Viet Cong. According to Gary, he looked at them and they stared at him, then each continued on their own way.
Time Machine
News segment guest, 13-year-old Gentill Abdulla, talked about his plan to build a time machine of his own design (related report | illustrations). The device will work by producing a black hole, Abdulla explained, noting that one must travel through the singularity at the hole's center. Abdulla said he'd like to go into the near future, maybe a year or so, but pointed out that his machine could theoretically take a person millions of years forward in time.

Weidner said he made the film to help people not be afraid to die, and to no longer be afraid to live their lives freely. "Once we realize that there's no such thing as death, then I think we're going to be liberated from the political and social environment that we've been thrust into," he said. In the film, Brinkley reported that the government has investigated near-death experiences but has refused to tell the public what they've found, because it's in their interests to control the populace through fear.
Secrets are going to come undone, "and one of the main secrets of all is that we are hyperdimensional beings...and that energies do not die, they only transform themselves," Weidner declared. In his study of the ancient Sanskrit texts called the Puranas, he learned that humanity has been on Earth for as long as a million years, and repeats four different cycles. Our current age, they predicted, will end in the year 2442 with coronal mass ejections wiping out life as we know it.
According to Weidner's interpretation of the Puranas, during one of the previous cycles when solar ejections occurred, a group of Earthlings were able to escape to Mars and live there safely underground. When they returned to Earth, their appearance had changed to tall, pale-colored beings, who became known as the Ayrans or the Vril, he said, adding that they're secretly ruling the planet. He also talked about L. Austine Waddell's research into the Aryans, and director Stanley Kubrick, whom he believed was trying to reveal knowledge of secret ruling societies, in his films like Eyes Wide Shut, and an abandoned project called The Aryan Papers.

First hour guest, Bill Spillane talked about the FairTax plan, which gets rid of personal and corporate taxes and replaces them with a national retail sales tax. Such a plan would mean US citizens wouldn't have to file taxes, they'd have more cash, and there would be more jobs available, he said, noting that low income people would receive stipends to pay for the added retail tax.

The recent series of quakes off Mexico that were felt in Phoenix and San Diego could be a precursor to a larger event, he said. He expects a big quake somewhere along the Cascadia subduction zone which runs from Northern California to Alaska, as well as possible seismic activity in the Puerto Rico Trench, which could cause tsunamis along the East Coast. A large quake in the Cascadia zone could set off new faults or a chain reaction triggering activity in locations as far away as the New Madrid Fault, he commented.
Battros said he tracks the sun and Moon in making quake predictions, and earth change analysis. While Solar Cycle 24 has been very quiet, he expects activity to pick up and actually be stronger than Cycle 23 at times, with short but powerful X Class flares hitting during 2011-2012. An advocate for disaster preparedness, he's set up this page with survival tips.
During the third hour, geologist Jim Berkland and quake sensitive Cal Orey joined the discussion. Berkland noted that in parts of the country, we were seeing one of the coolest summers on record. He cited the upcoming seismic window of August 18-25th as a time we'd see quake activity along the West Coast and/or the Ring of Fire. Orey said she was sensing pending activity, and would be surprised if there wasn't a quake in California this August.

First hour guest, SETI senior astronomer Seth Shostak shared updates on projects and space news. SETI's Allen Telescope Array is currently looking at the center of the galaxy, he noted. Announcements about NASA's Kepler space telescope, which is searching for exoplanets, are coming soon, he added.
