Torchwood, BBC Radio (2008 - 2011)

Finally got them all together...

TORCHWOOD

01 - Lost Souls (10 September 2008)

When scientists start to disappear prior to the activation of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland, Dr. Martha Jones of UNIT asks her friends at Torchwood 3, still grieving over the recent death of two colleagues, to investigate.

02 - Asylum (1 July 2009)

When PC Andy Davidson arrests a young girl for shoplifting, he thinks it's going to be a routine case. That is, until he sees that she is carrying a gun. The girl is soaking wet, covered in mud, and the weapon is like nothing he's ever seen before. He knows that this is a case for Torchwood... The team discovers that the girl is called Freda, but can find out nothing else. Yet when she speaks, it's a strange mix of English and Icelandic, but with a Cardiff accent. While Jack and Ianto check out the girl's weapon and her blood sample at the Hub, Gwen and PC Andy take Freda to a safe house. But when Jack calls with the results—and Freda goes on the run—PC Andy finds his world turning upside down.

03 - Golden Age (2 July 2009)

On the trail of a dangerous energy field, the members of Torchwood are led to Delhi. There they witness the simultaneous disappearance of hundreds of people, and Jack discovers that the field centres on an old colonial mansion — Torchwood India. Jack is shocked to find that Torchwood India is still going strong — he shut it down himself over 80 years ago. He's even more surprised to find that its members, including his old flame the Duchess, haven't aged a day. What is the secret of their eternal youth, and how is it linked to the deadly energy field? The team must find out — and they haven't a moment to lose, for all the time the field is expanding...

04 - The Dead Line (3 July 2009)

When a hospital is inundated with patients that have fallen into coma-like trances, Torchwood move in to investigate. They find that the trances were triggered by phone calls, all of which were made from a number that hadn't been active for over 30 years. Determined to find out who's been calling the unfortunate victims, Jack rings the mysterious number — two, zero, five, nine — nothing. It's a dead line. Until it calls Jack back, he answers — and falls into a deep trance. The team race against time to find the source of the 'infection' and save the patients.

05 - The Lost Files: The Devil and Miss Carew (11 July 2011)

When Rhys's elderly Uncle Bryn has a heart attack while listening to the shipping forecast, it seems like another routine death at Ivyday Nursing Home. But when Rhys and Gwen go to collect the old man's effects, Gwen's suspicions are roused by another elderly resident. The conversation is cut short, though, by a fire alarm, one of many consequences of the mysterious power cuts that are sweeping the nation. Gwen has a hunch that something is wrong and her search leads her to Miss Carew, a suspiciously fit and strong octogenarian who, despite having supposedly terminal heart disease, has left Ivyday and gone back to work at the Computer firm she used to run. Miss Carew has been offered a deal by Fitzroy, a wandering alien with an aversion to electricity who is looking for a home. It's a deal that Miss Carew can't refuse. But the consequences for planet Earth are unthinkable.

06 - The Lost Files: Submission (12 July 2011)

Torchwood are chasing aliens down the M4, when Jack accidentally blows a hole in the Severn Bridge, and the SUV hits the water. Whilst submerged Jack, Gwen and Ianto hear a strange noise, which, back at the Hub they realise is a cry for help. They track the cry to its source which turns out to be the deepest part of the Ocean - the Mariana Trench. Ianto rings old Torchwood flame, Carlie Roberts, who's an expert in marine geology, and Jack pulls strings with the US government to get them all on board the USS Calvin, an Arleigh Burke class destroyer, which is heading for the Trench. From there they board the Octopus Rock, the only submarine built to withstand the pressure at that depth, and follow the signal. But when the Submarine crashes, the team are left at the mercy of a hungry alien.

07 - The Lost Files: House of the Dead (13 July 2011)

This audio featured the conclusion of a significant conflict: the permanent closing of the Cardiff Space-Time Rift, which had been the main concern of Torchwood Three's operations for Series 1 and 2. Uniquely, such a plot point would normally be reserved for televised closure, but considering the events of Miracle Day do not cite the Rift as active anymore, the matter can be considered resolved. It also marked the final chronological appearance of Ianto Jones, occurring six months after his death. Ianto was brought back to life, only to give it up again for the sake of his lover's survival. This gave Jack Harkness a chance to make peace with his partner, but the emotional weight of it would be the final push that led him to depart from Earth.
