I am uploading my collection of Time Hunters Audiobooks I noticed that there was a request for them tried dropbox only parts of each file made it up so somone send me to a site that ha reliable uploads and is easy to use

    The link is messed up Howie.  How did you get the link?  It takes me to my own shared Skydrive.  You will see a header in blue  It has Sharing in the header.  Click on sharing .  Next screen click on get a link.  Then click on view .only and that gives you the link.  Make sure you have the folder open that you are getting the link to when you do this.  After the first time it is easy.   if you have trouble with it just ask and i will help.  --------------  R

      I like storage sites that are easy for others to download my stuff.  On A-drive you and zip or rar them and get a lot up or down quickly.  On Sky-Drive you have the option of downloading the whole folder which is good.  Each site has their own good points.  Many of the older sites just continue to make it more difficult for downloaders like waiting times, and slowing down the speed to dial-up speed if you try to download something and you aren't a member.  I think that kind of crap really sucks and wouldn't give them a dime.  I don't agree with the philosophy that the downloader should be penalized.  To me that is a really sucky business model.

      I agree...my gripe is the sites that make you wait 60 seconds or more to download the 1st file then make you wait 2 hours to download the 2nd file (plus the 60 second wait).  There is one site in particular which I cannot place at the moment, that states that you must wait 1 hour between downloads.  BUT...when you come back after the hour is up you still cannot download until several hours later.  For me, I lose interest and just don't download the file or forget about it.

      Maybe there are some people that will actually buy a membership with tactics like that but it only pisses me off and I will look to hell and back to find it somewhere else.  There are people on another site I belong to that have had accounts since year one on these and the uploads are great and fast and being a member they never run into the crap that other people do and they wonder why others complain about where they post.  I try to make sure that it is as easy for the download by others as it was for the upload by me.  ------------------------------  R
