    The second sentence should read: this new copy has sections that are missing from the versions that are commercially available.

    Randy Riddle found a "live" master acetate of Mercury Theater's "War Of The Worlds," which was probably ordered up by Mercury actor and associate producer Paul Stewart.  It has sections missing from the versions that are commercially available.  You can find his posts (with downloads) here:
