This Sceptered Isle: The Dynasties
In 2001 a series entitled This Sceptred Isle: Dynasties was produced. This told the stories of the powerful and influential families of Britain's history, including the Godwines, the Despensers and the Churchills. The series consisted of 10 episodes and was narrated by Anna Massey.

I was unable to unzip chapter 3. Error message reads "Archive of unknown format or damaged".
Everything else was OK and I listened to part 1 last night. Anna Massey is an excellent storyteller.
