I am glad it works for some people, it does not work for me. I tried the "view all search" for a file that I knew was there with no results.

I find that the search function works well enough within a given discussion but not within the entire site. I find that there's a lot of duplication of files, and hence duplication of effort uploading these same files over and over again, both between groups and also within discussions. I've been away from my computer for the last week but when I checked on my favourite groups this afternoon I found that almost half the new posts were retreads. I can't help thinking that there might be a monetary cost associated with this activity now that we're paying for Ning.
Hi Victor,
If you have time jot down the retreads and where they are and I will start correcting the them. ----Thanks

okay, i noticed today, there are two different types of searches (1) search timespast, which is the one i was referring to. and search within a group, which i only noticed today. I tried that one in either the whodunnit or mysteries, whichever one has the paul temple stuff, and it worked.
Where is the in group search? I have been looking for this mythical beast for almost 4 years. Please point it out to me and everyone else who has been looking forit. Please slay this dragon for me. -------- Rick
It's bad because you have to manually search and it's good because it doesn't display private group information and therefore have it common knowledge on the net

Thanks to Martin for noticing..
