    • Sadly the BBC broadcast is neither "complete" nor "unabridged."  :>(

      It's good (of its type) but the original is FAR better.  I read this years ago. I doubt that I still have the book.

    The older stuff is more entertaining because of the total absence of the CSI effect.

    The detective depends on his reasoning not the lab.
