The Dain Curse

The Dain Curse is a novel written by Dashiell Hammett and published in 1929. Before its publication in book form, it was serialized in Black Mask Magazine.

The plot plunges Hammett's hard boiled, nameless detective the Continental Op into a a wild story of murder, drugs, cults and insanity.
