  • We love Judge Dee...thank you for sharing!!!

  • Thanks

    • I also have a copy of the Phantom of the Temple but the quality of the audio is quite poor - often muffled and distant- sort of like hearing conversation in the next room.  Does anyone know of a way to clean it up? Is it even possible?

  • I haven't read any of these--I'm interested to see how they are. Thanks, semo.

    • Speaking of reading, I have digital copies of the Judge Dee books.  Would you be interested in them?

    • I'd like to see it, sure. Thanks for sharing.

    • They can be found here...

    • Thanks, semo. These are in the reading list for when the thesis is done. So far I have Philip Kerr's Berlin Noir novels and  the new Murakami sitting on a shelf as a treat when my writing is done.

  • This is one of two unrelated stories from The Monkey and the Tiger

    Synopsis:

"The Night of the Tiger", takes place ten years after  "The Morning of the Monkey" when Judge Dee is returning to the capital at Chang'an when bandits force Judge Dee to take cover in an isolated country house. There he must fight off the vicious cut-throats as well as solve a murder.
