A mysterious island.

An abandoned orphanage.

A strange collection of very curious photographs.

It all waits to be discovered in Miss Peregrine's Home for
Peculiar Children, an unforgettable novel that makes for a
thrilling listening experience. As our story opens, a horrific
family tragedy sets 16-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote
island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling
ruins of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob
explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear
that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have
been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted
island for good reason. And somehow - impossible though it
seems - they may still be alive.

A spine-tingling fantasy, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar
Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an
adventure in the shadows.

  • Is this still available? A Drive says it's closed for maintenance. Thank you!

  • Thank you Rik! Just one quick question.............Why BUMP?.....................Larry

    • Hi Larry,

That is just my way of bumping a selection to the top of the cue.  If there is an addition to a post like a Thank You or anything like that the program is automatically pushed to the top and bumps the others down one, hence Bump.

New people or even a lot of older ones don't really know how to use the group search or to look for older posts so occasionally I will bump/advance older posts that didn't get any takers or are really good posts to the beginning so you see it first in the list or close when you sign in to a group.  It gives newer people a more varied selection to look at especially in the summer when new stuff is much slower.  I think it has something to do with the Universities all being on vacation and everyone enjoying the outdoors instead of reading and listening as much. You can do it to any of your posts if you want or even my posts if you want.  -----------------  R
