Full Cast - Merian Cooper's King Kong

A hulking freighter waits at a darkened pier.

Aboard, filmmaker Carl Denham prepares for a strange voyage to a distant island, an island where he hopes to make the most exciting movie of all time.

First mate Jack Driscoll has concerns about the journey, concerns that only grow deeper when Denham talks a down-on-her-luck beauty named Ann Darrow into joining them.

And what waits for them at the end of the journey? More danger and excitement than any of the three could have imagined.

For what waits at the end of the journey is Kong.

Join the showman, the sailor, the blonde, and the beast for one of the greatest adventures of all time, as the actors of Full Cast Audio sweep you into the pulse-pounding epic of King Kong, Eighth Wonder of the World!

  • Sendspace is a seriously crummy website. Without having the super duper package it would take hours to download this and any other program of a reasonable size. If I see Sendspace I don't even bother.

    • I don't require much of those who post.  It is truly a voluntary thing.  What I do ask of the poster is that when the link is no longer active the poster has three choices to either redo the link to an active one, have the material available should someone inquire or take the post down. I do suggest websites for storage that are down-loader friendly and supply free or low cost storage, but these are only suggestions since posting is a totally voluntary activity and those who do it should be given thanks.  They also have an obligation once they post to be mindful of those they are serving.  --------  R

  • Thank you Thomas:)

  • Thomas,

Thanks so much for this audio. It's absolutely wonderful.

    Rick,

The movie is great. When I was a young boy, (a very long time ago),  in the early days of television the bulk of the programming consisted of old movies and serials.  I remember seeing King Kong when I was about 8 years old. It was great and still is.

  • Thank you

  • Many Thanks, a hundred times over.  There is one thing that is second on my fondness scale concerning old movies.  The first is the audio version, as it lets me use my imagination that is hundreds of times better than the Movie.  In return for this wonderful Full Cast Audio is in my opinion the next best thing, the 1933 movie (COLORIZED).  --------------  R

    • Thanks for the movie Rick. There's nothing like the old writers and movie makers. A classic.

    • Yes, some old black and white movies are better colorized and some aren't.  I think this is one that is better with a little color.  -------------------------------  R
