On the tail of the '13 Halloween season, here is a reading of the classic Call of Cthulhu that I've felt has always been rather effective in sending that chill down the spine.
Thank you. I'll check this out. Though I've been listening to a fair bit of Lovecraft audio drama, namely the DART offerings, it's good to get back to the original prose now and again, and read the words of the master himself, especially in a tale as good as this one.

Many thanks to you, Evan! :)
Most Welcome. One of my favorite readings of this tale from one of the Masters.
Thanks Evan. Always interested in hearing readings of Lovecraft.

I would also like to know who the reader is. I have a couple readings of this. ------------------------------------------ R
Thank you too! -------------------------- R
Hi Evan:
Who is the reader?
That would be Mr. Garrick Hagon. So far this is the only Lovecraft reading of his that I've found, but he has an excellent voice for it.
Yes, it's Garrick Hagon reading from the Landfall "Tales Of Fear And The Unknown" series - which included Saki, MR James, Poe and E. Nesbit.
He also read Reanimator (http://za-pick.livejournal.com/4735.html & http://www.audible.co.uk/pd/B005MKQSSQ )
